We are located approximately 9 miles south of Minocqua and 3 miles from the BearSkin bike trail in Hazelhurst. The town road we are on is an approved ATV route and you can easily ride to The Lynne/Little Rice ATV Trail system located in southwestern Oneida County. The classic house sits on a slight hill overlooking beautiful Silver Lake, which is a no-wake lake. The property is nicely wooded and the house is surrounded with tall pine trees. You will enjoy many opportunities to enjoy nature at MY T Pine Acres. Deer are frequently seen passing through our property. You will also see a variety of summer songbirds; ducks swimming on the lake, eagles flying over head and loons swimming by and that will call late into the evening. You might even see a turkey. Outdoor activities abound: During the Spring and Summer, spend time sitting on the pier, swimming in the lake to the island in front of the house which protects swimmers from boat traffic, or fishing for bluegill, walleye, bass or musky. In the winter, have fun ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing or just walking in the snow or across the lake on the ice. The meandering path to the lake has railings from the house all the way to the lake along the path. Three comfortable and spacious bedrooms are upstairs -- two have queen-sized beds and one with a twin bed with a full private bathroom with a tub. The basement room has its own full sized bathroom and a pull out futon that sleeps two as well as its own gas fireplace, microwave, coffee bar and refrigerator. The full kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, and full sized refrigerator. (You can either drive 11 miles to do your grocery shopping or have the groceries delivered to you at the home.) Laundry facilities are also available on site. A gas grill is available for use on the porch next to the lake room and a regular grill can be used on the landing with the fire pit to keep you warm on cool nights. Water to the house is provided from our private well so it is free of all chemicals and additives so no need to buy bottled water. A generator is available in case of power outtages. The area has numerous churches of all denominations. In case of an emergency, the home is close to a hospital plus urgent care centers. Both Walgreens and Walmart have stores within 15 miles for shopping and/or prescription refills. For guests with special needs we have a tub seat available as well as railings which you can easily slide under any of the beds. The railings on the path to the lake make walking down to the lake possible for older guests or those with mobility issues. Rustic lake cottage with gorgeous view of pristine 40 acre lake nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's northwoods. We are located approximately 9 miles south of Minocqua and 3 miles from the Bear Skin bike trail in Hazelhurst. The town road we are on is an approved ATV route and you can easily ride to the Lynne/Little Rice ATV Trail system located in southwestern Oneida County. This cozy cottage sits on a slight hill overlooking beautiful Silver Lake, which is a no-wake lake. The property is nicely wooded and the cottage is surrounded with tall pine trees. You will enjoy many opportunities to enjoy nature at MY T Pine Acres. Deer are frequently seen passing through our property. You will also see a variety of summer songbirds; ducks swimming on the lake, eagles flying over head and loons swimming by and that will call late into the evening. You might even see a Turkey. The lake has a clear sand bottom swim area and a natural sand/grass shoreline. Take advantage of the sunshine on our large Otter Island resin swim raft. Enjoy the sparkling clear water of the lake while relaxing in the sun, sitting on one of two piers available to use. If you love to fish this rental includes a rowboat. There is also an old-fashioned paddleboat and a canoe available to use. Silver lake is plentiful in bass, pan fish and perch. Because this is a no-wake lake, you will not hear any loud motorized watercraft, which makes the lake very peaceful. This little cottage boasts knotty pine interior throughout. It has two cozy bedrooms, each consisting of a double bed, ceiling fan/light, small dresser and small open closet. Both bedrooms are connected to a simple eat-in kitchen/living room area. This area has a ceiling fan/light, full size refrigerator, full size gas stove/oven, microwave as well as a sink and counter space for preparing meals. There is a kitchen table that accommodates four people. The living area also has a sofa, chair and TV/DVD. Just off the kitchen/living room area to the front of the cottage is a nice size screened-in porch and it has a wonderful view of Silver lake. The screened-in porch has an ample seating area for relaxing. There is one full size bathroom with a shower stall, there is no bathtub and there is a ceiling fan/heater. The bathroom is accessed thru the screened-in porch. The lake cottage has recently been updated with a gas furnace for its heat source. Outside there is a charcoal grill if you choose to BBQ as well as a picnic table for eating outdoors. A fire pit/picnic area is available to use and it overlooks the lake for a memorable bon-fire. The lake area and fire pit are a common shared area between this lake cottage and another onsite rental. Both piers, raft, sundeck, canoe and paddle boat are available for both rental properties to enjoy. The cabin is located right on a recreational trail that is perfect for hiking or biking in the summer or riding snowmobile in the winter. Trail passes are needed for both snowmobile and bicycle on the Bearskin Trail. Enjoy the sunsets as the cabin sits on the East end of Baker Lake. The living room has an outstanding view of Lake Minocqua and breathtaking sunsets can be seen from the private balcony equipped with a a table and chairs. The dining room is furnished with a wood dining table and chairs that seats four easily. Table leafs are are located in each suite and the second level chairs can be used for additional seating. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a big breakfast to start your day, a quick lunch or a gourmet dinner. It is fully equipped with full size appliances, silver ware, cook ware, bake ware, and utensils. The master bedroom is located in the upper loft area of the condo. You will find a king size bed, television, chairs, dresser and a closet in this large bedroom. A private balcony overlooks Lake Minocqua. The master bathroom is attached to the bedroom. The bathroom has a large vanity with two sinks that allows room for two persons to prepare for an eventful day. There is also a shower/tub combination and additional storage.The Loft is at the top of the stairs, just off the master bedroom and has a table and chairs that overlook the living room. The lower level bedroom is furnished with two separate twin beds, chair, dresser and closet. This bedroom also overlooks Lake Minocqua and has a private outside deck with table and chairs. The lower level bath is a full bath and shower with extra cabinets.
